Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu's drama series The One Percent has been given a straight-to-series order by Starz.
The drama will run for 10 episodes, with co-creator Inarritu on board to direct the first two episodes, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The Birdman director co-created One Percent with Alexander Dinelaris Jr., Armando Bo and Nicolas Giacobone.
One Percent will star Hilary Swank (Million Dollar Baby), Ed Harris and Ed Helms. Swank and Helms will play married couple Laura and Alfred Murphy, while Harris, who recently joined HBO's Westworld as The Man in Black, is family patriarch Nathaniel Cobb.
The series follows the struggling family trying to keep their heads above water at their farm when they suddenly find their lives altered by a twist of fate.
Starz will keep the domestic multiplatform rights for the series that comes from House of Cards producer Media Rights Capital. The company has been developing the series since last November.
