A woman claiming to be the surrogate mother for Beyoncé and Jay Z’s daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, filed for custody for the child on Thursday.

According to The Hollywood Gossip, Tins Seals filed a maternity lawsuit in Manhattan. The legal document reads that Seals is seeking “to verify whether she is the biological mother.”

There are different reports on whether Seals actually wants custody of Blue or just compensation. Radar Online, says Seals does not want custody of Blue Ivy, instead she wants financial compensation. Seals also claimed that she gave her eggs to the couple. She wants DNA testing, and hopes to keep her relationship with the couple, who she thinks are "great people."

In the handwritten lawsuit, Seals says that the lawsuit would “remove any criminal liability associated with the unlawful use of my DNA for the parties involved.” Seals who is also homeless, said she would like for Sony, Beyoncé’s music label, to endorse her music.

This is not the first time Seals has filed a lawsuit against a celebrity couple. In the past, she targeted the daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, North West, and even Janet Jackson in connection with the children of Michael Jackson. The previous lawsuits were dismissed.

No official statements were made by the lawyers of Beyoncé.
