Actor Anwan Glover who starred on the hit HBO show The Wire was stabbed at a night club in D.C. early Sunday morning.
Glover reported that while on the second floor of Café Asia, he was attacked by two people. The first person punched him, and another hit him on the back of his head, reported the The Washington Post .
The 41-year-old Glover was kicked multiple times while on the floor. Someone then shouted that a man had a knife, which was used to stab Glover in his right side.
About 20 minutes before the attack on Glover, another assault was reported. A woman told police she was punched in the mouth by a man that she got into an argument with. The victim did not know the man.
Glover was well-known for his reoccurring role in The Wire as gangster Slim Charles.
According to ET, the perpetrator has not yet been found. Glover’s condition has not been updated.
The investigation is still being investigated by police.
