The Arizona Cardinals have lost defensive tackle Darnell Dockett for the 2014 NFL season after he tore his right ACL during practice on Monday.
According to ESPN, Dockett tore his ACL during a full team period halfway through the Cardinals practice.
Dockett is known for his durability. He has only missed two games, out of 158, in his ten-year career, including the first 104 games before he missed one game in 2010, according to the AP.
Dockett went to twitter to tell his fans that he will be okay.
I'll be back better than ever. To the cardinal fans & Dockett fans I love you all. I'll make sure I never forget y'all on this journey! #90

Another defensive tackle for the Cardinals, Calais Campbell, told reporters that the team leans on him to be a leader and is someone who will always work his hardest no matter what day it is.
The Cardinals are now even thinner on the defensive side of the ball. The Cardinals lost inside linebacker’s Karlos Dansby to free agency and Daryl Washington to a year long suspension, as we previously reported.
Dockett has 459 combined tackles, 40.5 sacks and 12 fumble recoveries in his career, according to ESPN Stats.
