Beyonce poses for fall issue of CR Fashion Book, writes poem for Blue

Beyonce posed for the fall issue of CR Fashion book, sharing a poem she wrote about her daughter with husband Jay Z, Blue Ivy.

Beyonce’s issue comes out on Sept. 4, her 33rd birthday. In it, she poses with a surfboard – a play on her song “Drunk in Love” – and goes braless in a long trench coat.

CR Fashion Book was founded by Carine Roitfeld, the former editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris.

In the poem to Blue, Beyonce wrote, “You call me a singer, but I’m called to transform, to suck up the grief, anxiety, and loss of those who hear me into my song’s form.”
She added, “It’s my daughter, she’s my biggest muse. There’s someone we all find out soon, more important than ourselves to lose,” Daily News reports.

She also wrote about her alter-ego, Sasha Fierce, and her connection with young children.

Earlier this month, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s daughter, North West, did a spread for CR Fashion book, making her modeling debut.
