Attention all Big Bang Theory fans, the sun is shining as the contract standoff is officially over and production will begin next week for the shows eight season.

As we reported earlier Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki were in talks with CBS over their new contracts and a pay increase similar to what the cast of Friends made, 1 million an episode. Entertainment Weekly reports that the three stars got just that as they signed on for an additional three years through season ten. While co-stars Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar are still working on their own contracts, they are confident they will reach the deal they want as well.

The debate did keep production back by one week and the cast did not appear at their Comic-Con panel last month. It is unknown if the delay will knock an episode off of the usual 24-episode season but only time will tell.

The Big Bang Theory returns Monday Sept. 22 and then go back to its usual Thursday nights starting Oct 30.
