Britney Spears has made one lucky fan very happy with more than just her music.
David LeCours, a longtime fan of Spears, says it was Spears' music that helped him find the strength to come out as gay. According to MTV, LeCours got to meet Spears at a meet-and-greet after her "Piece of Me" Residency show in Las Vegas. During this time LeCours gave Spears a letter and took a picture with her, which he posted on Instagram.
"The letter explained how she helped me get through a real tough period in my life these past couple of months, and how I wanted to end it all but she made me be strong," LeCours explained in the caption of his Instagram photo.
The caption also says after LeCours gave Spears the letter, one of her bodyguards stopped LeCours and asked for his address because she wanted to respond.
The response finally came Tuesday and LeCours eagerly posted it on Instagram.
"I honestly have no words at all," LeCours wrote in the photo caption.
MTV reports that this is just one in a series of acts of kindness Spears has made. Spears also surprised fan Cory Moraw, who is terminally ill, with a chance to see her perform in Las Vegas.
