Actors Antonio Banderas and Angie Harmon are celebrating their birthdays today.

Actor, director, producer and singer Antonio Banderas turns 54 today. Banderas started his career starring in numerous films by director Pedro Almodóvar. In 1992, Banderas starred in his first American drama film, The Mambo Kings. He then gained mainstream fame with American audiences in the film, Philadelphia, as the lover of AIDS-afflicted lawyer Andrew Beckett, played by Tom Hanks. He then went on to appear in Interview with the Vampire alongside Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt.
In 1995,he had a starring role in the film Desperado, played the antagonist in the action film Assassins. In 1996, he starred alongside Madonna in Evita. He then gained more worldwide success as the leading character in the film The Mask of Zorro. He went on to star in the Spy Kids film trilogy, Original Sin, Femme Fatale and Once Upon A Time In Mexico. He made his directing debut with the film Crazy in Alabama, starring his wife Melanie Griffith.
In 2003, he returned to the musical genre, appearing to great acclaim in the Broadway revival musical, Nine. He starred as Puss in Boots in Shrek 2, Shrek the Third and the last film in the Shrek franchise, Shrek Forever After. He then reprised the role for the spin-off film, Puss in Boots. In 2005, he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Banderas married actress Melanie Griffith in 1996. They have a daughter, Stella Banderas. In June 2014, Banderas and Griffith announced they were getting a divorce.
Angie Harmon, 42

Television and Film actress and fashion model Angie Harmon turns 42 today. Harmon began acting in 1995 after being discovered on a plane by David Hasselhoff. She then starred in several television series, including Baywatch Nights, Baywatch and C-16: FBI. She also appeared in the 1998 film, Lawn Dogs. In the late 1990s, Harmon became better known by joining the long-running NBC series Law & Order, as ADA Abbie Carmichael.
Harmon left Law & Order to concentrate on her film career. After appearing in the 2001 direct-to-video film Good Advice, she had a supporting role in Agent Cody Banks. In 2006, Harmon co-starred with Cuba Gooding Jr. and James Woods in the direct-to-DVD drama End Game. Harmon starred in the music video for Craig Morgan's "This Ole Boy."
Harmon is married to former NFL player Jason Sehorn. They have three daughters; Finley Faith, Avery Grace and Emery Hope..
Harmon currently co-stars with Sasha Alexander in the TNT crime-drama series Rizzoli & Isles, playing Boston, Massachusetts, police detective Jane Rizzoli. The show premiered July 12, 2010.
Harmon won Outstanding Female Actor in a Leading Role in a Drama Series for Rizzoli & Isles at the 2012 Gracie Allen Awards.
