Chad Michael Murray and Enver Gjokaj have both signed on as series regulars for Marvel's upcoming Agent Carter series.

Murray was tapped to play SSR Agent Jack Thompson and Gjokaj will play Agent Daniel Sousa, Marvel announced. Agent Carter, played by Hayley Atwell, will run into both characters as she accepts a position within the SSR.

The SSR is the Strategic Scientific Reserve, who Agent Peggy Carter signs up with in 1946, but is stuck doing administrative work with the conclusion of World War II and men returning home from overseas. She splits time working there and taking on covert missions for Howard Stark.

ABC picked up the series earlier this year, with Atwell returning to the role first created for Captain America: The First Avenger. She also reprised the role, with heavy aging makeup for The Winter Soldier.

Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas are on board as showrunners, while The First Avenger writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely penned the script.

The second and third episodes of Agent Carter will be directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, who helmed The Winter Soldier.
