A judge has actually praised “Loyal” singer Chris Brown for his good behavior since being released from jail two months ago.

He was due in court on Wednesday for a progress report and Judge James Brandlin rewarded him for staying out of trouble and complying with his probation officer.

According to CBS News, Judge Brandlin denied the probation department’s request to increase Brown’s community service days from three days a week to four days. He also decreased the number of drug tests he has to submit a week from three to two.

In addition to his positive progress report, his doctor wrote a letter to the judge saying he’s made “strides” in his sobriety, despite TMZ reporting he had to be carried out of a nightclub in June.

“Mr. Brown has made significant strides in maintaining his sobriety, as well as developing skills that promote personal growth," the doctor wrote, CNN reports.

Brown was released from jail in June after serving 108 days in prison of his 1-year sentence. He’s still on probation stemming from his 2009 beating of then-girlfriend Rihanna and he was found guilty of violating that probation when he was arrested for assault in D.C. in Oct. 2013. He will now remain on probation until Jan. 23, 2015.
