Comedy Central has renewed late-night panel show @midnight for a second season, host Chris Hardwick announced Monday night.

The Talking Dead host made the reveal while appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The second season will air in 2015 and run for 40 weeks.

"@midnight has been an absolute dream come true for me -- a game show of Internet jokes with my comedian friends," Hardwick said. "I cannot thank Comedy Central enough for letting us continue. If they hadn't you can damn well bet that I would have forced people to come over to my house to play it anyway, for no audience, so everyone is thankful we dodged that bullet."

The Emmy-nominated series initially began last October as a four-week trial and managed to average more than 450,000 the first three weeks it aired.

@Mdnight has also been popular during its run with the always-courted younger viewers, thanks to a focus with social media, Variety reports.

"People always ask me when '@midnight' airs," network president, content development and original programming, Kent Alterman, quipped when confirming the renewal.

Hardwick is also producing an upcoming variety series for Comedy Central called Sleight of Hand, which will star magician Justin Willman.
