Christina Aguilera has welcomed her second child and first with fiancé Matt Rutler and the couple has now announced the baby girl’s name.
The “Your Body” singer gave birth via C-section on Saturday at Cedars-Sinai hospital in California but at that time, that was the only information released.
The second-time mom took to Twitter on Sunday to announce, “So proud to welcome our beautiful daughter Summer Rain Rutler into the world.”

Aguilera also has a 6-year-old son, Max, with her ex-husband Jordan Bratman. She started dating Rutler in 2011 after they met on the set of Burlesque.
She announced via Twitter that they were engaged this past Valentine’s Day.
Aguilera will be replaced by No Doubt’s Gwen Stefani on NBC’s The Voice this weekend as a mentor, but she will return to the show for its eighth season. She’s currently working on a new album.
While she was pregnant with Summer, she did a nude shoot for V Magazine and explained, “As a woman, I’m proud to embrace my body through all stages of life, staying fearless and confident in surrendering to the unknowns the future has in store.”
