DeMarcus Cousins had to be helped off the court on Thursday after suffering an injury during practice with Team USA.
He got hurt while hustling for a loose ball. Cousins, who plays for the Sacramento Kings, appeared to be favoring his right knee when getting off the court, USA Today reports.
Cousins was taken back to have the trainers examine him and there has not been any word yet on the severity of the injury.
Team USA director Jerry Colangelo said he is "wishful, hopeful" that the injury isn't too bad, but regardless, he said Cousins will not play on Saturday against Brazil, according to ESPN.
