Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union’s “save the date” isn’t any ordinary card or refrigerator magnet.
The NBA star and his actress fiancé actually made a short video to inform their guests that the wedding will take place on Aug. 30 in Miami, Fla.
Not only does the video reveal the date, but we also get a glimpse of a never-before-seen video of his proposal, which took place right before the holidays.
TMZ was the first to reveal the video, which shows Wade’s kids holding up “Will you marry me?” signs and the Think Like a Man, Too star high-fiving Wade. At the end, his sons hold up signs that read “Save/ The /Date.”
Wade has two sons from a previous marriage to Siohvaughn Funches; Zaire and Zion, and he also has custody of his nephew.
Unfortunately, after the happy engagement news, it was revealed Wade had fathered a love child while he was on a break from Union.
In a press conference, he addressed it, explaining "I had a time, a part in our break, in our pain and our hurt, a blessing came out of it in my life, having a son that was born healthy.”
