Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi celebrated six years of marriage on Aug. 16 and the syndicated daytime talk show host tweeted the sweet gesture her Arrested Development star wife made to celebrate.
“Look what my wife did for our wedding anniversary. Six!" she wrote, with a photo of the word written in the sky.

The couple has been plagued with divorce rumors in recent years, which DeGeneres has been quick to defend on her show.
Back in December, when the rumors were at their peak, DeGeneres addressed them on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
“There's not one ounce of truth to any of it. I'm very happily married,” she said at the time. “In fact, the only thing we ever argue about is who loves who more. That is all. It really is true.”
She then defended their marriage again in February, telling People, "One tabloid said Portia's leaving me because she doesn't like moving a lot. Which is funny because she is overseeing the construction of our new house and loving it."
