Brooklyn Nine-Nine is getting a little desperate thrown into their second season as Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria is set to appear in a three-episode arc.

Variety reports that Longoria will play a defense attorney named Sophia who battles Andy Samberg’s character Jake Peralta in court. She is not the only guest star as Kyra Sedgwick, Terrell Owens and Jenny Slate will also play a part in season two. The new season will pick up from the cliffhangers of season ones finale including Jake admitting feelings for Amy Santiago, played by Melissa Fumero, and going undercover for the F.B.I.

Andre Braugher, who plays Captain Holt, told E! Online that, The brash young Detective Peralta returns from his undercover duty hoping that the squad and everything will still remain the same, and in the course of his undercover work, the NYPD has gotten a new commissioner. So things are radically changing and Holt is on the cutting edge of this. So the old, stodgy captain wants everything to change and the young, brash detective wants everything to stay the same.”

Brooklyn Nine-Nine returns on Sunday, Sept. 28th at 8:30pm.
