Country turned pop singer Taylor Swift is set to mentor on singing competition The Voice and fans are expressing their excitement on Twitter.
Swift will be featured on season seven of the voice, according to Us Weekly. The “Shake It Off” singer will be assisting contestants on all four teams on the show. With Swift’s new swap to pop, it is unclear if she will be more focused on country music coaching or just giving general singing advice.
Judges on The Voice this season are old timers Blake Shelton and Adam Levine and new comers Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams. Other mentors on the show this season are Alicia Keys, Gavin Rossdale, Stevie Wonder, and country band Little Big Town.
Fans took to Twitter to express their pleasure in Swift being featured on the hit reality show.

Swift has previously performed on season four of The Voice, according to MTV. Maybe she will show off her new dancing skills and perform again this season. The Voice season seven starts on September 22, which is about a month before Swift’s new album drops.
Swift’s new album, 1989 is set to come out October 27 and will be all pop, unlike her previous country music albums.
