After intense performances on Tuesday night, six contestants went home after America voted on who they think can sell out a show in Vegas.

Out of the dozen contestants who performed on this week’s America’s Got Talent,, half were destined to go home while the other half were sent to join the upcoming top 12.

The performers, singers, and musicians sang their own renditions of hits like “I want it that way” by the Backstreet Boys (performed by the army singer, Paul Leti) and Kelly Clarkson’s “Breakaway” by 12-year-old Mara Justine.

Unfortunately, for our army solider, America decided that he should not move on along with acts like Bad Boys of Ballet, Flight Crew Jump Rope, Andrey Moraru, Aerial Animation and the awkward comedian, Dan Naturman.

But before the 12 contestants took the stage, judges Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and Mel B. joined press and contestants backstage to participate in the first AGT BBQ, an event full of fun, games, food and of course, selfies.

While at the BBQ, TheCelebrityCafe.com met up with now-former contestant, Dan Naturman before he went out to the crowd to perform his standup on Tuesday.

The former law student turned comedian said, “I always wanted to [go the comedy route.] I went to law school because I thought it sounded more reasonable than doing comedy.”

“At the time it seemed like a ridiculous notion, but here I am,” he added.

Though, when we asked him how he was enjoying his experience on America’s Got Talent, the 45-year-old joked, “Awful. It’s very stressful. I don’t like it all. Who would?”

“You have to be judged and voted on every week, I mean does that sound fun to you?” he sarcastically added. “Every step is like a potential landmine.”

But after the sarcastic banter about his time on the show, Naturman gave some advice to anyone looking to get into the comedy scene.

“It ain’t easy,” he said. “But if there’s nothing else you can think of doing then I suppose you have no choice, come join us, come join this sea of madness.”

On Wednesday night, it was revealed that Naturman would not be returning but those who will be are Miguel Dakota, Sons of Serendip, Mara Justine, Mike Super, David and Leeman and Emily West.

Next week’s episodes will include performances from Balia Comingo, Blue Journey, Emil and Dariel, Jaycob Curlee, AcroArmy, Johnah Smith, Kelli Glover, Quintavious Johnson, Smoothini, Mat Franco, Wendy Liebman and Christian Stoinev.

Who do you look forward to seeing advance to the top 12?
