The Golden State Warriors forward Marreese Speights was picked up by police on Tuesday in St. Petersburg, Florida for a DUI.

The Tampa Police Department say the 27-year-old took a breathalyzer test twice, blowing a .103 and .106, above the .08 legal limit, the San Jose Mercury News reports.

Speights was arrested for the second-degree misdemeanor after failing to yield the right of way while exiting a driveway. A police officer pulled the Warriors player over and asked him to do some roadside sobriety exercises.

The incident log notes that Speights, who celebrated his birthday the day before, was cooperative with police officers. After spending the morning in jail, he was released on $500 bond.

According to ESPN, Speights played college basketball in Florida. He won a national championship while attending the University of Florida.

The 6-foot-11 forward has been in the NBA for six seasons and is entering the second year of a three-year contract worth $10.97 million with the Warriors. He averaged 6.4 points and 3.7 rebounds during the 2013-14 season.
