Jessa Duggar of TLC's 19 Kids and Counting got engaged to boyfriend Ben Seewald on Thursday.
The two began courting last year, when they mutually decided to refrain from holding hands until they were engaged, according to People. The next step is when they lock in their first kiss on their wedding day.
Jessa Duggar, 21, is third daughter of Jim Bob, 48, and Michelle, 47.
"We do have a lot in common," Duggar told People during her courtship with Seewald, 19. "He is a mellow personality, very romantic and very sweet. I am very cut and dried. And my sisters are coaching me on sweet romantic things to say."
Jessa's sister, Jill, 23, married Derrick Dillard in June, following the same courtship rules the Duggar parents laid out for all of their children, NY Daily News notes.
Jessa posted an ode to her new fiance on Instagram, reading "I admire this man with all my heart! @ben_seewald, you're absolutely the best!"

"We are so blessed to be engaged," the couple said in a statement. "We are thrilled to see what the future holds. Especially the wedding bells!"
The new season of 19 Kids and Counting begins Sept. 2 on TLC.
