Jim Parsons won yet another Emmy Award Monday night for his role on The Big Bang Theory as Sheldon Cooper.
"There's no accounting for taste, and due to good fortune I stand up here tonight," Parsons said as he accepted his fourth Emmy Award, USA Today reports.
The comedic actor also thanked his late father in his speech. "In a career that hinges on confidence so much of the time, I thank him."
Parsons beat out William H. Macy, Matt LeBlanc, Louis C.K. and Ricky Gervais for the lead actor in a comedy award, according to Entertainment Weekly.
