Warner Bros. TV and some of the cast and producers of the series, led by John Stamos, are reportedly looking into potentially reviving Full House in some way.
According to TVGuide, who first reported on the situation, Stamos is heading up the potential return as he still holds an ownership stake in the classic ABC series.
Series executive producer Bob Boyett and creator Jeff Franklin are also quite keen on bringing the show back, while Candace Cameron Bure, Andrea Barber and Jodie Sweeting are interested in returning. Bob Saget and Dave Coulier are also said to have some involvement in the project as well.
Stamos previously talked up the possibility of bringing the show back, telling Watch What Happens Live in late 2013, "We're sort of working on a twist on a sequel, but we don't know if it's going to happen yet or not."
It isn't too surprising that there have been talks of reviving the series, which ran from 1987 to 1995, after another former TGIF series Boy Meets World was successfully given a sequel Girl Meets World this summer, The Hollywood Reporter notes.
Plus, repeats of Full House continue to draw a strong audience on Nick at Nite, with encores averaging 1.5 million viewers.
