Julianne Hough is reportedly in talks to return to ABC's Dancing With the Stars as a permanent judge.

According to sources who spoke exclusively with TMZ, Hough was made an offer to return to the series as the fourth judge on the dancing competition. Currently she is said to be in negotiations.

Hough recently appeared on season 17 and 18 as a guest judge while she continued to try and make it as a successful actress, something which hasn't yet happened. If she returns, she'll join Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Len Goodman.

Goodman had previously indicated he was thinking of leaving the series, TVGuide reports, but so far it appears like he will return for another season.

Hough left DWtS following season eight after winning twice, indicating she was looking to give acting a try. She appeared in Rock of Age and Footloose.

As previously reported, her brother Derek Hough is returning to the series as a dancer, along with Karina Smirnoff, Cheryl Burke and others. Veteran Maksim Chmerkovskiy will not be returning.
