Julianne Hough is returning to the upcoming 19th season of ABC's reality competition series Dancing With the Stars as a permanent judge.
As previously reported, the two-time winner was in talks to become the fourth judge on the series after a couple stints as a guest judge.
She originally competed on DWtS up until season eight when she left in an attempt to become an actress, snagging roles in Rock of Ages and the remake of Footloose.
On Thursday she appeared on Good Morning America to make her return alongside judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli, ABC News reports. "I'm excited," Hough said. "'Dancing With the Stars' has always been a part of my family. That's where it all began for me. It just felt like the right time and the right opportunity."
The 26-year-old's brother Derek Hough is returning for his 14th season and she said she won't have an issue judging his team. Along with Derek, Karina Smirnof, Cheryl Burke and others are returning for the latest season, while longtime dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy opted to depart after the 18th season.
