Katy Perry found time on Friday to get her nose pierced as she wanted to try and hide a scar and then naturally recorded it for all to watch.
In an Instagram video post, Perry whines a little after the needle goes through her nose. The piercer, who is not seen on camera, with the exception of his gloved hands, tries to clam up. "I know, I'm sorry! Don't say anything. You're making me hurt."
In the caption for the video she notes she tried piercing her nose when she was 13 years of age, armed with only a safety pin and ice cube. "This time I thought it was best I left it to the pro's. Sorry mom (again)."
In a recent interview with Yahoo Celebrity, the "Roar" singer admitted that sometimes she regrets not having a complete education, which was the result of her dropping out of high school. While she did earn her GED, she then immediately focused on music.
She noted that her middle and high school experiences weren't great because she was "being pulled out of school ... and sometimes being homeschooled."
The pop star noted, "Sometimes we were sent to these really half-Christian, half-education, I-don't-know-what-they-were schools."
So though she didn't get much in the way of a formal education, she is still doing quite well for herself. Perry is currently out on her "Prismatic World Tour."
