Kelly Rowland has accidentally revealed the gender of her baby with husband Tim Witherspoon, who she married in May. She also talked about preparing for the baby, including assembling the nursery.
Rowland was chatting with FOX411 about the #AmpYourFab contest with Caress for the MTV Video Music Awards when she let it slip they were having a boy.
“We’re very excited. So far, everything has been good,” she gushed. “I just feel like the baby is already rotten–like literally, my Caress family has gotten him all of his little bathing stuff, his toys–it’s just so cool.”
She then realized her slip-up and just let it go. “It, it’s…aw, f--k it! It’s a boy. It’s a boy!” she exclaimed, instructing her rep to call her husband – who’s also her manager- that she “spilled the beans.”
The Destiny’s Child singer revealed she was pregnant in June, when she posted a photo of a tiny pair of Jordan’s next to an adult sized pair.
Rowland also talked about the nursery, calling it “fly.”
“I just wanted it to feel like a comfortable museum,” she said. “Almost loft-y like. It’s just looks really cool. He’s got these huge pieces of artwork. It’s just really fresh.”
