Kim Kardashian will appear in a guest spot in the upcoming season of CBS' mildly successful comedy 2 Broke Girls.

Kardashian took to Twitter on Monday afternoon and revealed the news to her fans. "Shooting an episode of #2BrokeGirls with @OfficialKat & @BethBehrs! Can't wait for you to see it 10/27 @ 8pm on #CBS."

In the episode, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians' starlet will appear as herself and she'll show up to maybe help Max and Caroline with getting their cupcake business a little media love, TVLine reports.

"They need a big bump and providence sort of smiles on them when they find out that Keeping Up with the Kardashians is doing a segment in Williamsburg, and that they may make an appearance at their shop," Michael Patrick King, series executive producer, explained.

He added that the Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs' characters are excited that she appears at their shop window, but King cautioned that their good luck will not completely transform their business, "because it's a comedy, and because they are broke" so the show won't become "2 Upper Middle-Class Girls."

The executive producer noted that the show would still have filmed the episode as planned even if Kardashian hadn't been interested in appearing as herself, but "she was the cherry on top."

2 Broke Girls will return to CBS on Oct. 27.
