The Martino family just got a little bigger! Kyle and Eva Amurri Martino welcomed their daughter, Marlowe Mae, over the weekend, sources have confirmed.
Baby Marlow was born on Saturday, Aug. 9, Weighing in at just 6 lbs, 11 oz, PEOPLE reported. This is the first child of the actress and the former soccer player and it looks like it may be a first for someone else as well, her grandmother, actress Susan Sarandon.
"When your daughter's having a daughter, it's so interesting," Sarandon said on Chelsea Lately last month. "I can't quite wrap my head around it yet, but I'm happy." Sarandon will not be called grandma, however. “I borrowed this name from a very dear friend of mine who’s from the South, and his grandma was ‘Honey,'” Sarandon has said.”
Safe to say that “Honey” is as excited as ever as she joked to PEOPLE in March that she intends to go against everything her daughter is doing and spoil her newborn granddaughter completely.
The couple announced the pregnancy in February and shared a snapshot on Twitter revealing that they were in fact expecting a little girl tweeting “Who run the world? GIRLS! #BabyGirlMartino”
