The late Lauren Bacall left behind a sizeable chunk of change to be put towards the care of Sophie, her papillon.
According to the New York Daily News, the silver screen legend's will says that $10,000 of her estate will go to one of her sons and be used for the continued care of her little dog. The pooch will be able to continue living a life of luxury.
Bacall passed away almost two weeks ago at the age of 89 after suffering a massive stroke.
She had a long film career, starring in such great films as The Big Sleep and Dark Passage opposite husband Humphrey Bogart, along with Key Largo and How to Marry a Millionaire. Bacall was nominated for one Oscar and was presented with an honorary Oscar in 2010.
Sophie isn't the only one that Bacall remembered in her will. Two employees, Ilsa Hernandez and Maria Santos, received $15,000 and $20,000, respectively. She also left $250,000 to each grandson and her three children will split the rest of her estate.
Her three children, Leslie Bogart, Stephen Humphrey Bogart and Sam Robards, also were willed her rights and likeness, but Bacall had one simple wish. "I request that my children respect my wish to keep private certain personal letters, writings, diaries and other papers or memorabilia."
