Lindsay Lohan shared a mini Mean Girls reunion she had with Tina Fey, gushing about the film’s writer in an Instagram post. However, she has since deleted the intimate photo.
Lohan, 28, posted a photo of the two with the caption, "Lovely running into an inspiring, funny, beautiful old friend!!!!"
Fey not only wrote the film, she also appeared opposite Lohan and co-stars by Rachel McAdams, Lacey Chabert, and Amanda Seyfried as math teacher Ms. Norbury.
Lohan has been vocal about her desire to star in a sequel to Mean Girls, saying on the Tonight Show back in March, “It would be amazing. We should do it here! Tina, this is important. This needs to happen,” Us Weekly reports.
At the time, Fey shot it down, saying, “I said to her (Lohan), 'Oh, I think someone may call us about doing some kind of reunion because next month is the 10th anniversary of the movie.' And so really... if everyone's around we might try to do some kind of like panel discussion, but it's not like another movie.”
April marked the 10-year anniversary of the now cult classic film.
