His total amount for fines is more than $500,000 according to CBS Sports. Despite reports of Lynch having to pay off his fines, the Seahawks have resisted it. Not only resisting, the Seahawks are giving Lynch $1.5 million more than his original salary in his contract.
His other contract stated he was due a $5 million base salary. Now he is going to receive a $6 million base salary. With the roster bonuses contributing to the total salary, he will make $6.5 million this season, as prove by NBC Sports.
The Seahawks are preparing for another 16 game NFL season. The first game they play is at home against the Green Bay Packers, as seen on NFL.com. Having Lynch ready to go is essential to the organizations success.
