The next star of ABC’s The Bachelor will not be Arie Luyendyk, Jr. Instead, Luyendyk hinted that it could be Chris Soules.

Luyendyk, who was a contestant during Emily Maynard’s 2012 season of The Bachelorette, tweeted this afternoon that he would not be the next Bachelor. “I’m not the Bachelor, have fun on the farm people,” he wrote.

The farm reference is believed to be a hint that Soules will be the next star of the long-running ABC show. Sources for Us Weekly say that it will be Soules, a farmer who appeared on Andi Dorfman’s just-concluded season of Bachelorette.

Soules was a fan-favorite during the show and Dorfman clearly was sad to let him go just before the fantasy suite night. During the live Bachelorette finale, soules did get a big cheer from fans when host Chris Harrison asked who they thought should be the next Bachelor.

ABC has not said anything officially. As per usual, announcements like these are held for Good Morning America. According to The Huffington Post, ABC will make the news official tomorrow morning on GMA.
