A lawmaker in Ohio wants a LeBron James license plate to be made so the state’s motorists have a chance to capitalize on the opportunity.
State representative Bill Patmon is preparing to present legislation to permit a license plate that says, "LeBron James Witness 2.0.” This action would be honoring LeBron’s decision to come back to the Cavaliers, according to USA Today.
Ever since James decided to go back home to Cleveland, the state of Ohio has been excited about the childhood prodigy bringing his talents to the Quicken Loans Arena again.
Tickets sales have sky rocketed ever since the sports world heard about his groundbreaking announcement. On July 11, it was reported that Cleveland’s home games were sold out, as proven by ESPN.
James returning to the franchise that made him a global icon is something that he saw himself doing. While in Miami, he did not rule out the possibility of going back to the Cavaliers.
Here is a video back in 2012 where he spoke about the topic of a homecoming.
