Comedian Mike Birbiglia is joining the ever-growing cast of Netflix’s Orange is the New Black. However, his recurring role was not revealed, so we will have to wait to find out.

The casting was first reported by The Hollywood Reporter. It’s not clear how many episodes he will appear in, but it is only known that this is a recurring part, so he probably won’t be in every one.

Jenji Kohan’s acclaimed women’s prison drama returned with a second season on July 11, with the entire season available on Netflix at once. A month before it premiered, the streaming service renewed it for a third season, giving Kohan the opportunity to build the cast early.

Mary Steenbergen was recruited early on and it was confirmed that Laura Prepon is returning to the show. However, Pablo Schreiber is leaving.
