When Paige VanZant steps into the ring in the fall, she will make UFC history as the youngest female to fight in the sport.

According to Fox News, The 20-year-old Nevada fighter will make her debut against Kailin Curran in Halifax, Nova Scotia on Oct. 4. VanZant originally intended to be on “The Ultimate Fighter”, but had to be at least 21-years-old to compete. However, she will make her appearance in the Octagon.

Although VanZant is also an inspiring model and dancer, she still packs a punch. The 5-foot-4 fighter is currently 3-1 in her career, and when she realized fighting was more than just physical she stepped her game up, reported the Inquisitr.

“I have always been mentally focused and prepared before each fight except my fight against her, and it really showed,” VanZant said, speaking of her loss against opponent Tecia Tores.

While VanZant has two months before she steps in the ring, the young fighter’s pre-fight routines keep her nerves calm and saves all of her energy for when she steps in the ring.

“I get my nails done, watch my favorite tv shows, bake cookies etc," VanZant said. "And then I get to the fights and warm up a little, once I walkout it’s on."
