Ray J, a reality star and rapper forever known for his supporting role in Kim Kardashian’s sex tape, was arraigned Tuesday on several misdemeanor charges after he allegedly groped a woman at a Beverly Hills hotel bar. The singer, whose real name is William Ray Norwood, put in a not guilty plea.

The alleged incident took place back on May 30. According to The Los Angeles Times, he was arrested that night, since a woman said he grabbed her behind. Prosecutors say that he then refused to leave the bar.

Norwood was not cooperative with police at all. Police said that after his arrest, he “subsequently entered the valet area and became belligerent with the valets and refused to leave.”

Then, while in custody, he continued to misbehave, breaking a side window in the police cruiser. Police say he then “became combative and spat into the face of one of the officers.”

The Associated Press reports that Norwood, the brother of singer Brandy, will be back on court for another hearing on Aug. 28.
