Singer and reality star Ray J has pleaded no contest to charges stemming from an incident occurring in May where the star allegedly groped a woman and spit on a police officer.

The star plead guilty to trespassing charges to settle the case, according to CNN. The judge in the case sentenced him to three years of probation and 50 hours of community service. The star will also have to attend anger management classes and alcohol treatment therapy. The star is also banned from The Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel and he must pay an unspecified amount to the hotel for the incident.

Ray J was charged with four counts of misdemeanor sexual battery, resisting arrest, battery and vandalism last month after the singer got into an altercation at the Beverly Wilshire, in which he was accused of grabbing a woman’s buttocks, which he has denied.

When police arrived on the scene, the singer became “belligerent with the valets and refused to leave,” a public information officer told E! News at the time. It was then that Ray J, who was placed in a police vehicle, shattered a window with his feet. Upon his removal from the car, he allegedly spit in the officer’s face.

Hopefully with the singer set to star in VH1’s Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood, he will continue to have a much better year.
