Ricky Martin has announced he’s giving his 6-year-old twin boys; Matteo and Valentino, a baby sister. Martin announced plans to have the baby in 2015.
Martin announced the news at a press conference for his charity, which funded an educational center near San Juan.
"The little baby will come next year. When daddy's little girl arrives, I want to be there," he said, Fox Latino reports.
Martin, who came out of the closet in 2010, split from his boyfriend Carlos Gonzalez Abella in January.
“We have to make a couple of phone calls to look for the little girl," he said, not confirming whether he’s looking for a surrogate or if he’s adopting this time.
Martin told Oprah Winfrey in the same year he came out that he was inspired to be truthful about his sexuality because of his sons.
“I couldn’t take it anymore,” he said of hiding it. “It was too painful. But I guess the most important thing is my children ... When I was holding them in my arms I was like, ‘What, am I gonna teach them how to lie?’”
