Ryan Seacrest talks turning 40, wanting a marriage like his parents have

As Ryan Seacrest approaches turning 40, he’s taking a step back to reorganize his priorities. Know as one of the hardest-working in the business, Seacrest admitted he wants a marriage like his parents have.

Seacrest will turn 40 in December and as the date draws closer, he’s embracing his personal life more.

The On-Air with Ryan Seacrest and American Idol host is currently dating model Shayna Taylor, 23. He split from Julianne Hough last year.

The milestone birthday "is a turning point number where you go, 'Wait, you've got to grow up a little bit.’ I'm actually embracing it!" he told People.

Seacrest, who executive produces shows like Keeping Up with the Kardashians, admitted until recently he felt “guilty” taking time off from work.

"I look at what my mom and dad have had for 40-plus years – a fantasticrelationship and great marriage,” he said. "Someday I'd like that. They're my role models."

Seacrest was first seen with Taylor, a personal trainer, in November 2013.
