It has been confirmed that longtime San Antonio Spur Tony Parker has agreed to a multi-year contract extension to stay with the organization that made him famous.

In his entire 13 year NBA career, Parker has not played for another team, as proven by USA Today. He has been apart of four championship teams with Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili.

The 2007 NBA finals MVP is the fifth Spurs player to re-sign with the team during free agency, according to KSAT San Antonio.

Parker averaged 16.7 points and 5.7 assists per game last season. He did so in just 29 minutes per game, which shows how efficient he is. The man from France has been described as one of the best point guards in basketball today.

San Antonio looks to defend the top spot in the NBA after coming off of a championship season in 2014. Basketball purists have praised the teamwork the Spurs showed during the Finals against the Miami Heat. Tony Parker was a key contributor facilitating the ball to his teammates during the right times.
