On Thursday August 7, the San Francisco Giants lost against the Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park. The final score was the Brewers 3, and the Giants 1.

The only positive outcome that came from loosing against Milwaukee was outfielder Angel Pagan returned to the lineup for San Francisco. After being on the disabled list, he had two hits.

According to sfgate.com, Pagan was in a great mood after the game was over.

"I feel great," Pagan stated. "I thought my jumps in the outfield were pretty good. My energy was pretty good. I feel happy. I know we lost, but I feel good things are coming."

Even though San Francisco lost on Thursday, the team has suffered without Pagan playing in the outfield. When Pagan was absent from the lineup, the Giants had an overall record of 19 wins and 26 losses.

He is a lead off batter that gets things started for the team. His batting average is .309, so that means he averages three hits every 10 at bats, which is fantastic for an MLB player.

The organization is going to need him for the rest of the season. They are on the verge of a playoff birth as they continue their road trip on Friday playing in Kansas City.

San Francisco is 3.5 games out of first place in the NL West Division, as proven by MLB.com.
