The highly-beloved film from 2003, School of Rock, has received a TV series order from network Nickelodeon.

Nick, who ordered a 13-episode first season, will be pairing up with Paramount TV, which is Paramount's new television division's first series order, according to Deadline.

As in the heart-felt classic, the series will focus on Dewey Finn, a washed up but impassioned rocker who poses as a prep school substitute teacher and turns his kids into learners of rock-n-roll.

Production of the series is expected to begin this fall, for a spring 2015 debut, according to Variety. School of Rock director Richard Linklater and producer Scott Rudin will serve as executive producers of the series, while Jim and Steve Armogida, of the Disney XD series Crash & Bernstein, will write the adaption.

But the rocking doesn't stop there. Composer Andrew Lloyd Webber is also concocting a School of Rock Broadway show adaption, which is expected for 2016 and will feature songs from the film as well as new material written by Webber, according to Variety.

The relaunched TV division of Paramount is also developing a live staging of Grease for FOX, Deadline reports. The studio also has plans to dig from its movie collection and make television adaptions of films Narc and The Truman Show.
