Tiger Woods has withdrawn from the Bridgestone Invitational due to a back injury. His caddie Joe LaCava drove Woods off of the golf course so he would not suffer any more damage to his back.

This is not the first injury Woods has suffered with his back. He missed two months of golf because he had surgery on his back this past spring. According to ESPN, Woods made comments as to when he suffered the back injury.

"It happened on the second hole when I hit my second shot, I fell back into the bunker," Woods stated. "I just jarred it, and it's been spasming ever since."

Woods has participated in three tournaments since coming back from his surgery. Now it is unclear if Woods will be apart of the PGA tour scheduled in Louisville, as proven by the Los Angeles Times.

The injury Woods has suffered will be another set back for the golfer who has achieved many accolades in his career. Over the past couple of years, he has not had the same dominance he had in his earlier years do to multiple injuries and surgeries.
