Looks like it isn’t the end of Kate plus 8 after all.
Three years after the cancellation of the reality show, TLC has reportedly ordered more hours of Kate and her children to be aired in December specials, the Hollywood Reporter confirmed exclusively.
The family returned to TV with a one-hour TLC special back in June and drew in a total of 2.1 million viewers when it premiered. It is not immediately clear just how many hours of Kate and the family we will be seeing, but the network has confirmed that they will be released over multiple specials in December.
So what exactly will these specials be about? According to E! News, TLC will be following Kate, her sixtuplets, Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah and Joel along with her 13-year-old twins, Cara and Mady on a family vacation to Boston and other parts of New England.
Although John Gosselin is still against his children being on television, Kate has said that her children actually enjoy filming their lives for TV.
