Seth Meyers has had an incredible year, even though he has left Saturday Night Live. He is now one of the top personalities at NBC, which was made obvious when the peacock network hired him to replace Jimmy Fallon on Late Night. In addition, he was picked to host the 66th Annual Primetime Emmys, which are tonight.

NBC has tried to make the Emmys more hip this go-round with social media additions. Just like every awards show these days, be prepared for hashtags and Twitter handles thrown out during the broadcast. Part of the preparation for the new social media friendly awards show was Meyers doing a Reddit Ask Me Anything session.
Meyers did his last week and answered everything about various parts of his career, from his time at SNL to even working on Jerry Seinfeld’s Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee. Some answers were long, some were short. Here are some of the best questions and answers from the session.

10. Although Jerry Seinfeld did his own Reddit session back in January, his online show Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee is so popular that it was the first topic Meyers was asked about. He was asked if there was any preparation or if Seinfeld really does just pull up to your house and starts a conversation.

“No preparation at all,” Meyers replied. “Jerry pulled up outside my apartment and we spent four hours together. An hour on the road, three eating and talking. Probably four of the most exciting hours of my life. Very few people I know that are more fun to talk about comedy with.”

[new page = Best Perks]
9. What’s the best perk from Late Night?
“A dressing room with my own bathroom.”
Obviously.
[new page = Stefon]
8. Without a doubt, Bill Hader’s Stefon was the best part of Weekend Update during Meyers’ reign. Of course, he was asked about the character a few times.
“How could you ask questions like ‘I'm sorry Stefon, what is a human magic 8-ball?’ with a straight face when Bill Hader couldn't keep it together?” one person asked.
“In my memory I never did. It was so wonderful being out there with Bill. I just felt like an audience member with the best seat,” he replied.
Later, he said that “KEVIN!!!!” was his favorite Stefon nightclub.

7. Who knew Seth Meyers had fans in China? Not Seth Meyers. When someone told him that he’s known as “Sai Jin Hua” (“better than golden flowers”), he replied:
“That's the best thing I've heard all day! Can't wait to make my writers start calling me that!!!!
Thanks, China.”
However, someone later said it was a joke. It really means “likes golden showers.” Still, it’s a compliment... right?
[new page = Portlandia]
6. Who wouldn’t want to see Meyers on Fred Armisen’s Portlandia? Unfortunately, his packed schedule will make that hard.
“The schedule has never worked out but I'm hoping to make it up to Portland soon. I'd love to be there and see Fred do his thing.”

5. The SNL crew keeps in touch, so Meyers is very excited for the news that Andy Samberg’s Lonely Island crew is working on a movie.
“So so excited,” he replied when asked about it.
[new page = Advice for writers]
4. During every celebrity AMA, there’s always one guy who asks for some words of advice. One person asked for advice for an aspiring TV writer and wondered how you could get into the entertainment industry.
“I think there are more ways than ever to find a job in the entertainment industry. The best advice I would give is to create as much content you're proud of as possible. So if the day comes when somebody wants to see your stuff, it's ready to go.”
[new page = Who is most like their characters]
3. One person asked if there were any SNL star who was most like their characters. The answer: Amy Poehler.
“If you think that, based on her characters, Poehler is a ball of positive energy that you would want to spend time around, you would be right.”
Really?
“Really.... with Seth and Amy.”
[new page = Pinch Me]
2. While he was at SNL and worked at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, Meyers got to meet a lot of famous faces. But one person wanted to know what his strangest “Pinch Me” experience was.
“In my early years of SNL I shared an elevator with Robert DeNiro.”

1. Finally, one person asked Meyers what sketches he was most proud of. Also, why doesn’t SNL credit individual writers?
“In my last full season I wrote a lot of stuff I loved. Louis CK as Lincoln, Darrell's House with Zach and History of Punk with Fred,” he wrote. “As far as why they're not credited it's a good question. I will say, with rewriting and collaboration giving one writer sole credit would take away from the efforts of the table. I ‘wrote’ the Sarah Palin sketches but often the best jokes came from other people pitching in.”
