Tracy Morgan is having a tough time recovering from his traumatic injuries, according to his lawyer Benedict P. Morelli.
Morelli told People that the comedian is struggling and that the healing process has been a long one. Recently, Morgan has been spotted using a walker and a wheelchair to get around since the crash, which happened in June.
After being in critical condition for much of his time in the hospital, Morgan is finally on the up, but he still has a long road ahead of him.
The comedian is recovering at home after leaving rehab last month, Yahoo! reports. In addition to Morgan breaking his leg, he also suffered extensive trauma to the face and brain. There’s no telling when he will fully be able to walk again.
"He's making incremental progress," Morelli said. "But they'll have to wait another month before they assess him cognitively."
The June crash, which involved a six-car pileup, left Morgan and others in critical condition, and it also caused the death of his friend, comedian James McNair. Morgan has filed suit against powerhouse retailer Walmart for being responsible for the crash. He alleges that a Walmart truck driver caused the pileup.
