Bachelor in Paradise debuted to weak numbers in the TV ratings on Monday, while a steady MasterChef topped the night.

NBC edged Fox on the night for the victory with a 1.7 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 5.05 million viewers. Running wild With Bear Grylls, this time with Ben Stiller, held even with the premiere's episode soft 1.3 rating, HitFix reports. American Ninja Warrior followed even with a 1.9 demo rating.

Fox came second, tying NBC in the demo, but following with the weaker overall audience of 4.555 million viewers. Masterchef followed the nightly trend of holding steady with a 2.0 rating. Hotel Hell pulled in a 1.4 demo rating.

CBS had the strongest audience of the night with 5.15 million viewers, but lagged behind with a 1.2 rating in the 18-49 demo. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the lone new show of the night Under the Dome was consistent with last week's ratings with a 1.6 key demo rating.

In last place was ABC, which averaged a 1.2 rating in the advertiser-important demo and 4.46 million viewers. New show Bachelor in Paradise debuted to low numbers, managing just a 1.3 rating and 5 million viewers. The reality series opened below the 2013 canceled Bachelor Pad's ratings. Mistresses followed with a 0.9 rating.
