Under the Dome remained the top overall program, while American Ninja Warrior and MasterChef performed strongly.
NBC topped the major networks on Monday night with a 1.7 rating in the 18-49 demo and 5.49 million viewers. American Ninja Warrior tied a two-year high in overall viewers with 6.1 million and drew a 1.9 rating in the demo, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Running Wild With Bear Grylls dropped to a 1.2 demo rating.
Fox tied NBC in the advertiser important demo, but lagged behind in viewers with 4.87 million. Hotel Hell improved on the night to a 1.5 rating, while MasterChef averaged a 2.0 rating.
CBS struggled in the 18-49 demo with a 1.1 rating, but had the strongest overall audience of the night with 5.5 million viewers, HitFix reports. Under the Dome was steady with a 1.5 rating in the demo and had the best audience with 7.23 million tuning in.
In fourth was ABC, which was even in the demo with CBS, but only averaged 4.36 million viewers for the night. Bachelor in Paradise slipped to a 1.3 rating and Mistresses followed down to a 0.7 key demo rating.
The CW pulled in a 0.6 rating in the demo and 1.49 million viewers, thanks to the return of America's Next Top Model. The show, which used to air on Fridays was down slightly in its premiere though to a 0.5 rating.
