Following the television shows cancellation by NBC in May, Yahoo bought the show to revive it via an online only season six. Mediaite reports that Yahoo has released a teaser trailer featuring a look back on the past five seasons as the show was, “barely left alive.” The reaction from Yahoo purchasing the popular series was mixed as fans were thrilled the show would potentially continue its six seasons and a movie promise while others feared it would continue down a terrible road.
The trailer seems to restore some faith in the show as it plays tribute to the classic goofing off that occurs in the library as they avoid studying. E! Online points out the jab Yahoo makes at the shows new lack of ratings as the announcer states at the end of the trailer, “Ratings? Where we're going, we don't need ratings!”
