Game of Thrones will be missing some fan favorites in season five: Hodor and Bran Stark.
AceShowBiz reported that Kristian Nairn, the actor who plays Hodor, revealed that he had the year off, along with Isaac Hempstead-Wright who plays Bran Stark.
"We have a season off and we have a year's hiatus, solely because I imagine our storyline is up to the end of the books," Nairn said. "So, I get my year off now to do Rave of Thrones and gallivant all over the world."
Nairn is currently touring Australia as a DJ for a show called Rave of Thrones, according to Yahoo News Australia. The show Nairn puts on has white walkers, dragons, and plenty of dancing. The DJ gig is a far cry from Nairn’s character Hodor, who protects Bran and can only say his own name.
Season Four of Game of Thrones left off with Bran, Hodor, and Meera finding the three headed crow mentor in the north, shortly after Bran’s mentor, Jojen, was killed by white walkers.
Game of Thrones season five is currently being filmed and will premiere in April of 2015.
